Wow, that is a lot of snow on the ground. You don't want that much to melt too fast. Parts of Utah are having serious problems with that right now.

The snow level is lowering so fast!
I would say at least 8" a day, probably more. I suppose that a lot of the melting snow is simply evaporating in this dry air, under this hot and shiny sun. We'll see next week, but for now there is no flooding ahead, everything seems under control. Unlike the western continent, snow here isn't due to high mountains. Flood episodes usually come when northern lands melt, and all drop their water in rivers, direction St. Lawrence River, which becomes a wide bottleneck. They don't have hot days like us for now, just southern Quebec feels the coming spring presently.

They sale something really close to Big Blue's paint pattern. You could have T-Shirts for your journey crew!

I looked at those, but they aren't really all that close. Here's the closest compared to the real thing, but in the picture of BB the light blue is washed out:

Nor did they mention our son's new sleeper - Volvo XC90. In hybrid mode he says it'll surprise most people.
And they didn't mention Janey's GLK - the twin turbos make that thing a blast to drive. And with AWD it never spins, just puts all that torque to the ground - quickly. In fact, they didn't mention Blue. The Max Tow feature got 3.55 gears instead of the standard tall gears, and it is surprisingly quick. But the fact of the matter is that lots of newer vehicles are quick compared to the older stuff. Back in the day my '69 Bee was thought to be fast, but even basic stuff would blow it away today.

so many of today's average cars are plenty quick enough. we had a saab aero 93 that was a blast. we were late one night, and my wife asked if I thought we could make it. I said shut up and hold on. we made it. and when we got there, she said "(expletive) I didn't know my car could do that". she just like the car.

Well, Minnesota reality struck. After Wednesday, Thursday and Friday had highs near 90°, Saturday was 45° with a rain/snow mix. And this morning we woke up to this Oh well, the other part of Minnesota reality is that this won't last long either.

My shop cat/house cat/best bud crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. I was halfway expecting it, but also holding onto hope that he would pull through. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and I am beyond heartbroken. This little guy was always by my side, and constantly hopped up into my trucks to hang out whenever I was working on them. We rescued him from the shelter in 2019, and the fact that we only had a few short years with him stings, but at the same time I am eternally grateful for the past few years. He will be greatly missed each time I am out working on my trucks, but I have laid him to rest directly behind where I park my trucks so that I can see his resting place each time I walk the path from my shop.
